Please review the following terms and regulations that govern the platform, company campaign hosting, judging, moderation, and contestant participation on QEGNET.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- Agreement: By accessing or using the QEGNET platform, all users (companies, moderators, judges, and contestants) agree to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as any specific rules associated with individual contests.
- Amendments: QEGNET reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. User Eligibility
- Age Requirement: All users must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Minors may use the platform with parental consent.
- Compliance: All users must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws while using the platform.
- Registration: Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and keep their account information up-to-date.
3. Platform Usage
- Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are liable for any activities that occur under their account.
- Prohibited Activities: Users may not engage in illegal activities, harassment, or actions that could harm the platform or other users (e.g. hacking, spamming, IP infringement).
- Content Submission: Users may not submit content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others. QEGNET reserves the right to remove non-compliant content.
4. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: Users retain ownership of their submissions unless explicitly transferred under specific contest rules.
- Licensing: By using the platform, users grant QEGNET and hosting companies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote their submissions in connection with contests and platform marketing.
- Third-Party Content: Users must respect third-party intellectual property rights and may not submit content without authorization.
5. Financial Transactions
- Payment Obligations: Companies must transfer the full amount of reward money to QEGNET before a contest begins.
- Refund Policy: Refunds for entry fees or prize funds are subject to specific contest rules and QEGNET policies.
- Transaction Fees: QEGNET may charge fees for certain transactions, which will be disclosed before transaction completion.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
- Data Collection: QEGNET collects personal data as necessary for platform and contest operations. Users consent to data processing in accordance with QEGNET's Privacy Policy.
- Data Security: QEGNET takes reasonable measures to protect user data, but users remain responsible for safeguarding account credentials.
- Data Sharing: User data may be shared with third parties as necessary for contest operations, but will not be sold without user consent.
7. Wallet Functionality
- Automatic Wallet Creation: Upon registration, a wallet is automatically created for each user role on the QEGNET platform.
- Deposits: Users can deposit funds into their wallet through local payment portal providers.
- Withdrawals: Users can withdraw funds to a bank account or mobile money provider subject to minimum threshold rules.
8. Contest Operations
- Fairness: QEGNET is committed to ensuring that all contests are conducted fairly and transparently.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, users must first attempt resolution through QEGNET's internal dispute process.
9. Liability and Indemnification
- Platform Liability: QEGNET is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform usage.
- User Responsibility: Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless QEGNET from claims arising from platform misuse or rule violations.
10. Termination of Account
- Termination by QEGNET: QEGNET reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
- Termination by User: Users may terminate their account at any time subject to ongoing contest restrictions.
11. Governing Law
- Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where QEGNET is registered.
12. Company Hosting Rules
- Company Registration: Only registered companies with verified profiles can create and host contests.
- Prize Escrow: Companies are required to transfer the full amount of reward money to QEGNET before the contest begins.
- Prize Release: Prize funds held by QEGNET will be released to winners based on results determined by contest judges.
13. Moderator Regulations
- Verification & Impartiality: Moderators must undergo verification and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Fair Oversight: Moderators enforce contest rules impartially and maintain confidentiality regarding submissions.
14. Judge Regulations
- Qualification: Judges must have relevant domain expertise and evaluate contest entries impartially based on established criteria.
- Independent Judgment: Judges must evaluate entries independently and complete scoring within specified timelines.
15. Contestant Regulations
- Eligibility & Original Work: Contestants must fulfill minimum eligibility rules. All submissions must be original work created by the contestant.
- Fair Play: Contestants must compete fairly. Harassment, plagiarism, or artificial manipulation will result in disqualification.
